Welcome to The Bluegrass And Nashville Dunfanaghy Festival! The BAND Festival is celebrating the roots of Bluegrass and Nashville music and the dramatic cross-Atlantic influence they have throughout music today. Set on the backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way the festival will be combining the beautiful wilderness of County Donegal with the talent of the many musicians, from both near and far, who continue to bring Bluegrass and Nashville music to life.

A fundraiser for Pat Muldowneys nephew Jason McGroarty and his wife Karen Both hailing from Letterkenny Karen is battling colon cancer thousands of miles away from us all in the states. Their bills are astronomical so any help we can give them and any stress taken off them will be greatly appreciated. Keep them in your prayers. On the night 4 musical acts will perform, John Muldowney, Maria McCormack, Ourselves, High Heeled Converse, and The Day light Wobblies where Pat has the opportunity to wail away on his lady in red Frankie 🎸. It all kicks off at 7 pm Fri 13th May. You will even get a wee nibble for soakage. Tickets are €20 which can be bought on PayPal (see link below) or at the door. Maria McCormack is a singer/songwriter from Co. Donegal, Ireland. Maria has been songwriting since the age of sixteen. Maria released her debut album, ‘I Choose to Love’ in February 2019. The album received national and international airplay and reached number 3 on the RTE Radio One charts.

Having set up a GoFundIt campaign in 2020 for her second album, Maria McCormack is finally here with Matters of the Heart. It’s been a crazy three years for Maria, having fallen in love and having two more little girls and also sadly losing her mum, whom she cared for two years. The album tells stories of love and loss.

The album was produced, recorded and mastered by Billy Robinson in the Grooveshack recording studio in Ramelton, County Donegal and features a host of incredible musicians:
